Q - How long have you been involved with DnB?
A- Since the nineties really, I
used to play live pa’s with an old sampler ,vocals , guitar, synths
whatever, against a dj playin breaks etc, we also did our own tunes on an
Atari system.
Q- Can you remember your first public
appearance & if so what was it like?
A- My first proper DJ gig was only a couple of years
ago, it was the Major League
party in Rotterdam, it was a Virus launch party, lots of big names, I was
in a smaller room, but it was scary all the same, but ive been gigging in
one form or another for a long time now..
Q- How did you get your first big break in the
scene?
A- My first big break was
getting ‘someone like you’ signed to GLR
Q- What tune are you feeling at the minute?
A- Mmmm..too many to mention..the two that
have been in my box for ages (because they mix so nicely together as
well).High Contrast-Lovesick and Marky
n Xrs.-The Breeze..
Feelin so much, its hard to say , Klute , definitely, Hospital (of
course), A.I. Tc n stress level, D Bridge, Ju Ju, Total Science ,Klone
,Commix ,and to add, there are so many new producers who send me tunes who
are busting some real bangers ..
Q- If you were to collaborate with anyone who
would it be?
A- I have done some work with Greg Packer,
Angie Brown, Dready, and a few remixes to boot. I prefer working alone
really, and if I did have a choice to work with someone it would probably
be someone out of the DNB frame to add something different, saying that,
there is a whole host of people that I think I would make interesting
tunes with, High Contrast would have to be in there as would Danny Bukem
(if only to get him in the f@£$%in studio)
Q- Most Memorable moment of 2004??
A- Drum n Bass wise-Watching
over a thousand people bouncing like nutters to Goldfinger-was very
special and moving Life wise-Growing up…again
Q- what do you want to achieve by close of
2004
A- A better sex life…to get
paid by somebody
Q- Who do you rate as an MC?
A- Mc Fun..and lots more,
Q- Who do you rate as a DJ?
A- Everyone who has the courage
to get up there and have a go…the Good looking boys are specialists tho
I have to say, proper old school mixin, Nookie , Bukem, you will rarely
hear them drop a mix..saying that I like a lot of Dj’s that cant mix to
save their lives because they pick a wicked journey of tunes..no names..
Q- What was your back up plan in life if you
weren’t doing this?
A- I do lots of things….there
is no back up plan..just life.
Q- Would you ever do top of the pops?
A- Now what fun that would
be…
Q- Who wouldn’t you work with??
A- Id consider anything..i
produce bands already, currently working with a young band..i love the process..
Q- Favourite venue?
A- Wherever its banging and
vibey
Q- Who would you like to bed this year?
A- To get to bed that would be
a good start…

A- i don’t that much
anymore..but DOA cracks me up and DBA is good for news and new vibes n
dubs
